Reporting to CEO Tom Brisley, Dost’s newly-created role will see him devise and deliver the company’s U.S. strategy and build relationships with new and existing clients. He joined two years ago as an exec overseeing the production of projects for the U.S. market including High Speed Chase, Late Night Lock Up, Hostage 911 and Married To Evil. He previously ran development for true crime, science and history producer Red Marble Media for 13 years.
Arrow calls itself the “UK’s largest supplier of true crime programming.” Shows include Disney+/Nat Geo’s Magic of Disney’s Animal Kingdom, Investigation Discovery’s See No Evil and Seven Days on Mars for the BBC.
Brisley praised Dost’s “extensive understanding of the U.S. market” and “go-getter” attitude. Dost hailed Arrow’s “impressive footprint in the U.S. across multiple platforms, with a portfolio of returning series and number of new projects.”
Red Planet owner Asacha bought Arrow last summer, with bosses Brisley and Iain Pelling retaining a minority stake.
