Ariana Grande Wore Glinda Pink Showing Rare PDA with Ethan Slater
She understood the method dressing assignment.
Ariana Grande leaned into method dressing as she stepped out with Ethan Slater in Sydney, Australia. Ahead of the Wicked premiere, the 7 Rings singer was spotted exploring the city while wearing Glinda pink – and her boyfriend on her arm.
As the couple arrived in the city on Saturday, Nov. 2, Grande linked arms with her Wicked co-star in a rare public show of affection, per photos shared by People. Walking alongside their fellow castmates Cynthia Erivo and Marissa Bode, the Victorious alum leaned into a blush pink color scheme from head to toe. She wore a light pink long-sleeved knit polo shirt that was more preppy than witchy ahead of their premiere that night. Grande paired the look with a matching pleated mini skirt with a distressed hem and Burberry checkered heels, and slung a boxy Versace trunk bag with brown leather accents and gold hardware over her shoulder.
The star stuck with her signature Glinda beauty, putting her long strawberry blonde hair into a smooth ballerina bun, and frosty light pink hues on her eyes, lips, and cheeks. A swipe of liquid black eyeliner and delicate diamond studs completed her look.
Meanwhile, Slater opted for a brown knit sweater and a baseball cap. The Spongebob Musical star, who plays Boq in the film, recently opened up about his relationship with Grande in a GQ story published on Oct. 30.
He called falling in love with his co-star “a really beautiful thing,” saying, “I’m just really excited. I’m just really, really proud of Ari and the work she’s done on this. She’s poured herself into it.”
He also addressed speculation about their relationship, which came on the heels of his divorce from Lilly Jay and Grande’s divorce from Dalton Gomez.
“I think there was something that was really difficult about things in your private life being commented on and looked at by the public,” he shared. “There were a lot of big changes in private lives that were really happening, so it’s really hard to see people who don’t know anything about what’s happening commenting on it.”
