Ariana Grande Supported Boyfriend Ethan Slater During His First Broadway Performance of ‘Spamalot’
Once a theater girl, always a theater girl.
Ariana Grande and Ethan Slater may have kept things low-key in the weeks that followed their internet-breaking relationship’s initial leak back in July, but now, they’re all about being spotted together out on the town — including the Great White Way.
Case in point? On Tuesday, Grande attended the first preview performance of Broadway's Spamalot revival at the St. James Theatre in New York City in support of her alleged boyfriend’s latest project (Slater plays the dual role of The Historian/Prince Herbert in the show). During the outing, the pop singer sported an oversized brown coat layered over a cream-colored dress, which she styled with a brown handbag and delicate white lace gloves. Ari wore her Glinda-coded blonde hair in a half-up half-down hairstyle with a side part, and she finished the look by adding a sharp winged liner and a glossy pink lip.
An Instagram video from one of the show’s attendees also saw Grande beaming at the stage during the show’s curtain call while clapping and cheering.
According to a source for People, Grande has been a “big supporter” of Slater’s show and “already has plans to go again.”
“She has seen it during tech rehearsals,” the source shared. “She was so sweet last night, taking pictures with fans and gushing about how much she was enjoying the performances. She's a theater kid at her core, so you see she really feels at peace being around Broadway.”

While Slater and Grande first met on the set of their upcoming film adaptation of the musical Wicked in winter 2022, it wasn’t until earlier this summer that they officially confirmed their off-screen romance. Before dating one another, Grande was married to Dalton Gomez for two years and Slater was married to Lilly Jay, with whom he shares a child, for five years.
