Ariana Grande Recalls On-Stage Wardrobe Malfunction with Her Bra During 'Dangerous Woman' Tour: 'It Just Fell'
The singer remembered the wardrobe malfunction while playing a game of 'Never Have I Ever' with her 'Wicked' costars
Ariana Grande is looking back on one of her biggest wardrobe malfunctions.
During a round of "Never Have I Ever" with Wicked costars Cynthia Erivo and Jonathan Bailey, the singer and actress, 31, recalled the moment her bra became unclasped mid-performance. "Never have I ever had a costume mishap," Grande said during the video for British Vogue, published on Friday, Nov. 22. She quickly held up a paddle declaring "I have" before recounting the incident.
"My bra came open one time on stage," she said.
"Oh my god, yes," Erivo, 37, exclaimed in reply. "You didn't even feel the breeze, it was just there."
"It just fell," Grande continued, "to the ground."
Fans think the star is referring to a moment during her 2017 Dangerous Woman tour. In video captured by audience members, Grande can be seen struggling with the clasp of her bra during a performance of her song "Into You."
After the clasp pops open, one of the singer's backup dancers attempts to fix it but isn't able to. Eventually, Grande resorts to holding it in place for the remainder of the song.

Grande has been making headlines throughout the Wicked press tour, particularly during her interview moments with Erivo. In a video with Out.com posted to the outlet's Instagram on Tuesday, Nov. 19, the costars were informed that several queer fans on social media were "taking the lyrics of 'Defying Gravity' and really holding space with that and feeling power in that."

Erivo, who plays Elphaba in the movie, responded: "I didn't know that was happening. That's really powerful. That's what I wanted."
"I think that it's really important for [Elphaba] in that moment to not allow the things that have hurt her, that have stripped her of her humanity, to keep her down," the star continued, referring to her character's powerful musical number.
During the interview, Grande gently took hold of one of Erivo's long fingernails, seemingly in a gesture of support during the emotional moment.
