There was another royal wedding that took place over the weekend
Between the hype of Princess Eugenie’s royal wedding followed by the exciting baby news of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle during their tour in Australia, it seems we may have missed another royal occasion worth celebrating.
And that is the royal wedding between Duchess Sophie of Württemberg and Count Maximilien of Andigné who tied the knot at the Castle of Tegernsee in Germany over the weekend.
On the day the 24-year-old bride stepped out looking regal as ever in a beautiful white boatneck gown with a long lace veil and tiara.
Her husband, a 29-year-old French aristocrat, looked just as handsome donning a dark grey suit with a camel-coloured vest and pale blue tie.
And of course, just like any royal wedding, the ceremony was decked with flowers and adorable pageboys and flower girls.
The pageboys were dressed to the nines in their army green and navy blue suits and gold buttons, meanwhile the flower girls looked elegant in their white dresses with alternating red and blue velvet sashes around their waists and floral crowns.
Who is Duchess Sophie of Württemberg?
Sophie is the eldest daughter to Prince Philip of Württemberg and Duchess Marie Caroline of Württemberg.
Phillip is the son of Duke Carl Württemberg who is currently the head of the House of Württemberg.
Before their religious ceremony at the Saint-Quirin Church, the couple had a civil ceremony earlier in September in Altshausen.
