Another royal baby has just been christened

In the midst of Princess Eugenie’s wedding to Jack Brooksbank, you may not have noticed another significant royal event took place over the weekend.

At only four-days-old, French royal baby Princess Jacinthe of Orleans was christened at Saint-Pierre church in Dreux, France – a town an hour west of Paris – on Saturday.

The newborn’s parents are Prince Jean of Orléans, the Duke of Vendôme and Philomena de Tornos Steinhart, the Duchess of Vendôme.

The royal couple married in 2009 and have five children together, Prince Gaston, 9, Princess Antoinette, 6, Princess Louise-Marguerite, 4, Prince Joseph, 2, and, of course, newborn Princess Jacinthe.

Despite only being four-days-old, Jacinthe appeared to be as good as gold at the christening, seemingly fast asleep the whole time.

Jacinthe’s christening comes three months after British royal baby, Prince Louis, was christened at The Chapel Royal of St James’s Palace in central London.
