Anne Hathaway has stopped traffic on Instagram this morning, announcing her second pregnancy with a heart-felt message to struggling women everywhere.

The Oscar-winning actress took to social media to share the news that her and husband Adam Shulman are expecting, alongside a black and white selfie showing off her noticeably pregnant belly.

“It’s not for a movie...⁣⁣ #2,” she teased fans.

The photo shows a pregnant Anne posing in a loose white tank top, with her bump prominent enough to poke out noticeably, and a thrilled smile on her face.

Followers could barely contain their excitement, leaving thousands of messages of support and congratulations.

It wasn’t just the baby news that sparked such an outpouring of affection however, the Princess Diaries actress also detailed her fertility struggles in the post, sending support and love to other women who have gone through the same.

"All kidding aside, for everyone going through infertility and conception hell, please know it was not a straight line to either of my pregnancies. Sending you extra love (sic)," she captioned the photo.

The new bub will be the 36-year-old’s second child, joining her three-year-old son Jonathan with her husband Adam Shulman.

Anne's pregnancy news comes after she spoke about her fears for her son Johnathon.

The Hustle actress said she plans to keep him away from social media when he's older, because she believes he needs to know there is a ‘dangerous element’ to the medium before he has his own online presence.
