They’ve been locked in a bitter divorce battle for two years now, but according to reports, Brad Pitt and Angelina have finally held a ‘secret meeting’ to call a truce.

It comes just days after it was reported that the couple’s 12-year-old daughter, Shiloh Pitt, ran away from home because she was so fed up with the legal arrangements.

“Brad and Angelina actually set up a secret meeting at her house,” a source told Entertainment Tonight.

“It’s the first time they have truly gotten together to make things work since their group therapy with the children.

“Brad and Angie’s meeting was a success. They are going to stay with the plan set forth through the courts.”

The news comes just weeks after it was alleged by entertainment website Blast that Angelina has been instructed to let Brad see the kids for four hours on non-school days and 12 hours on school days.

However, court papers filed last month by Angelina claimed Brad hasn’t paid any ‘meaningful’ child support for their six children – Maddox, 16, Pax, 14, Zahara, 13, Shiloh, 12 and nine-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne – in 18 months.

But the World War Z actor has debunked his estranged wife’s claims.

Lawyers for Brad filed a response insisting he has paid over $12 million ($9 million USD) to Angelina in child support since their split in September 2016, Entertainment Tonight reports.

“Respondent has previously loaned Petitioner $8.0 million (USD) to assist her in purchasing her current residence and has paid over $1.3 million (USD) in bills for the benefit of Petitioner and the minor children,” the court papers stated, according to Entertainment Tonight.

Brad’s lawyers also claimed Angelina and her attorneys never made any mention of child support in previous documents and labelled her recent court filings ‘calculated to increase the conflict’.

The 54-year-old’s camp branded Ange’s child support claims ‘calculated,’ ‘unnecessary’ and a ‘thinly-veiled effort to manipulate media coverage’.

The pair had another hearing planned for late in August, however, according to ETOnline, they called it off because they had reached a temporary truce.

“Angelina is enjoying the last few days of summer before school starts. She is helping the children heal with their father,” a source said.

However, last week it was reported that the couple were forced to rethink their co-parenting arrangements after 12-year-old Shiloh Pitt ‘ran away’ from her home to visit her dad, Brad Pitt.

“There’s no doubt Ange would have been freaking out – it’s every parent’s worst nightmare come true,” a source told NW magazine.

The insider went on to claim Shiloh is extremely close with her father and is no doubt highly agitated that she can’t see him whenever she wants.
