'American Pickers' Danielle Colby Shocks Fans With Bold Move After Canceling Events for Family Health Issues

Just days after warning followers that her Instagram page could "disappear" at any moment, Danielle Colby appears to have deactivated her public account—but there's still a way for fans to keep tabs on the American Pickers star.

As of Monday, Jan. 27, Colby's main Instagram account is no longer accessible. She still has a private Instagram account available by request. But what happened to the reality star's public presence on the social media platform?

"Hi everybody, Danielle Colby from American Pickers here," she said in the clip.

"Just wanted to say a few words of encouragement," she continued.

"First of all, should this page disappear, which it could, soon... go to @daniellecolbywashere. I'll also link up to that one too. Um, otherwise, you can follow my Patreon."

"Don't be down, don't be discouraged," Colby continued.

"This is what all of our great punk rock artists and punk rock songs prepared us for. This is the time, this is the day, this is the place. It is now, it is today," she added. "So, you know, this is an interesting opportunity for us to create some of the most outrageous art that we possibly can. This is a time for us to make statements, this is a time for us to band together, this is a time for us to check on our friends and family who need it the most."

On Dec. 9, Colby—who is a burlesque performer in addition to being a TV personality—announced the cancellation of her appearance at an adult variety show, as well as all events "for the foreseeable future."

"Had some very serious health issues happening within my family; I really don't want to get too much in detail," she shared via Instagram. "It's not my health I'm speaking of."
