Amazon MGM Studios’ ‘Fourth Wing’ Series Taps Moira Walley-Beckett As Showrunner

Rebecca Yarros’ Fourth Wing is one step closer to its small screen adaptation with the addition of Moira Walley-Beckett (Breaking Bad, Anne with an E) as showrunner.

The book series, which consists of Fourth Wing published in May 2023 and Iron Flame published in November 2023 so far, follows twenty-year-old Violet Sorrengail as she leaves the life of a Scribe behind at her mother’s demand that she become a dragon rider. At the order of her mother, who is a General in the military of Navarre, Violet enters the brutal ranks of Basgiath War College, which trains up-and-coming riders through the Graduate or Die method.
