There are plenty of TV streaming devices around, but there's one which is making waves with online reviewers.
Amazon's Fire TV Stick Lite, $59, turns any television into a smart TV. The HD streaming device and voice remote contains thousands of apps, and offers voice controls via Alexa.
You can stream it for free with SBS On Demand, 10 play, 7plus, YouTube, watch subscriptions to Netflix, Stan, Disney+ and Prime Video, as well as live television.
You can also view live camera feeds, check the weather and stream music through Amazon Music and Spotify.
The product has been getting rave reviews on one popular Facebook group, after one woman asked:"Thoughts please? I have a Google Chromecast but using my mobile to cast drains battery."
People replied in their droves, with one woman saying: "Bought this for my not tech savvy mum. It's amazing. I have chromecast and really considered replacing them with fire sticks. Definitely recommend."
Another agreed, writing: "I have one, I purchased through Amazon, $59! And super quick deliver. They’re awesome, we have one for 3 TVs."
Others had never heard of it before and wondered how the Fire TV Stick actually works.
You plug it into a HDMI port, turn it on, and connect it to your internet. Bob's your uncle, it's ready to go," a person replied, letting the Facebook users know that it has Netflix, Disney+ and the rest of the apps.

The controller has Alexa Voice Remote Lite which helps you find, launch and control content. You can even use it to turn on compatible light bulbs. Alexa can also play music, answer questions, read the news, check the weather, and set alarms.
The device is small and plugs directly into a HDMI port behind the television. You can move it between TVs, or even take it on holiday with you so you can watch your favourite shows wherever you are.
To use it, you'll need an Amazon account. You don't need a Prime Account, but Prime members do get access to thousands of movies and TV shows, including Amazon Originals such as Jack Ryan and Fleabag.
If you want to control power and volume on your TV, The Fire TV Stick Lite and Alexa Voice Remote Lite don't have TV controls though.
If you need a remote to do this, then the Fire TV Stick, $79, comes with these options. If you need to stream 4K, the Fire TV Stick 4K, $99, is the right device for you.
