The 'amazing' $10 Aldi buy making summer bearable
Aldi fans are going nuts over an "amazing" buy that is keeping their drinks icy cold during the hot Australian summer.
Aldi's Insulated Smoothie Tumbler with Straw, which sells for $9.99, is receiving rave reviews online with fans sharing how their cups were so cold their ice cubes were still there eight hours later.
"Purchased this rumbler today [at] my local Aldi store," one fan wrote in a Facebook group. "Put ice and water in it at 1230pm its now 845pm and it's still got ice cubes in it! I had weight loss surgery 5 months ago and I've struggled to find a cup that keeps cold drinks cold."
"Yes I got mine yesterday and I had iced water in it last night, forgot about it and it was still cold this morning hahaha!" another fan added.

"Thanks for the hot tip girl, I know where I'm heading Saturday!" someone else wrote.
Another user shared a similar post, writing: "If there’s any of these insulated cups left at your local Aldi...get one! 4+ hours left in the car in the hot QLD sun, and I’ve still got ice blocks."
"I'm heading to Aldi tomorrow, that's a MUST!!!!! THANK YOU!" one excited user wrote.
"I got three! Incredible invention," someone else added.
"I bought one a week ago and it's amazing!!! Love it," another said.
One user also suggested the Decor brand's insulated tumbler, which she shared she found at Coles, saying it had ice cubes from the day before even in a hot car. Others suggested Typo, MontiiCo and Frank Green.
Another suggested using a silicone straw, which Aldi also sells, for safety reasons like when giving to children.
The description for the cup reveals it can hold 540ml and is "perfect for takeaway smoothies, juices or iced coffee", it's also BPA free, made from stainless steel and is 100 per cent recyclable.
The cup can also be used for hot drinks.
