Amanda Holden posts holiday photos with her daughters and we wish we were there

Amanda Holden has shared some sweet snapshots from her holiday and they’re giving us all the summer feels.

The Britain's Got Talent judge recently headed off on her summer holidays and has given fans a glimpse of her trip via Instagram.

In one of the photos the 49-year-old radio presenter is pictured sitting side-by-side with her 14-year-old daughter Alexa Hughes, nicknamed Lexi, as the duo smile into the camera.

Looking sun-kissed, the mother/daughter pair look holiday-ready in a yellow kaftan and white summer dress as they pose together.

A second snapshot Holden shared is a selfie taken with her younger daughter, eight-year-old Hollie.

“#HRH has her sisters old phone and is obsessed with doing selfies!!” the TV and radio star captioned the summery shot.

Since Holden shared the sweet family snapshots, followers were quick to head to the comments to mention the strong family resemblance between the star and her daughters.

“Double of you,” one user wrote on the image of Hollie.

“She is legit the spitting image of you,” another said, this time about Lexi.

Another wrote: “Stunners. Look like sisters.”

The holiday spam didn’t end there, as earlier this week Holden shared an idyllic image of her kicking back in a swimming pool.

The TV personality could be seen looking serene as she floated round the pool on a pair of inflatable wings.

“Winging it,” she captioned the idyllic shot.

The star was spotted on a motorbike leaving Heart Radio on Friday 17 July after presenting her last show before a summer break.

While the star hasn’t revealed her location, it appears the family may have headed abroad as lockdown restrictions start to ease.

And Holden is clearly making the most of her time away.

On Saturday, the TV judge shared a photo of herself out to dinner in a stunning green and white print dress by Melissa Odabash.

“#vacances #rosé familytime,” she wrote in the accompanying caption.

We can’t deny the Heart radio host deserves her time away, after having kept her fans entertained during coronavirus lockdown.

From TikTok videos with her children to behind-the-scenes glimpses of her radio station’s office, the mum-of-two has been raising spirits during coronavirus pandemic.

Back in April, Holden kept us all amused by sharing a series of videos and photos of her performing everyday tasks in weird and wonderful outfits.

First she slipped into a bikini to mow the lawn, as you do, then she put out the bins in a sparkly pink couture gown before returning to the garden for more lawnmowing, this time in her wedding dress.

More recently, the radio host donned a dress made entirely of money to head into the Heart studios.

Holden’s Instagram account has been full to the brim with prime lockdown entertainment, as she chronicles the different methods she’s used to keep herself and her family busy.

One of Holden’s more recent videos shows her pretending to dial the phone using her cat’s paw, a video that’s popular on TikTok.

Another funny video to appear on her Instagram page included her two daughters.

The caption read: “This is how we ended another day of home schooling… with PE!” followed by a funny video of the three of them dancing and a cameo from the dog.

If only our own lockdown journey had been as entertaining.
