When I registered for my wedding, my most talented chef-of-a-friend said I simply must include an All-Clad frying pan in my registry. I'm so glad I listened. A decade later, my All-Clad pan is as mighty as ever. It's the first thing I reach for when I'm about to prepare dinner, and always remains teetering at the top of the pots-and-pans pile because of its frequent use. I wish it had a clone.

That's why I'm so excited about this deal from Nordstrom. The retailer is offering a pair of fry pans from All Cladthe essential 8-inch and 10-inch sizes — at a great discount. Normally priced at $105, this duo is currently available for just $70. An absolute steal.

Ideal for every sort of dish, from a cheesy breakfast scramble to a perfectly caramelized mirepoix sauté, these non-stick pans will become your instant favorites. "...You cannot go wrong with All Clad," says a pro who posted a review on the All Clad site. "I am a chef with 35 years experience, and there isn't a better brand than All Clad when it comes to pots and pans!"

Dishwasher-safe, these frying pans are made of anodized aluminum and finished with PFOA-free nonstick (nontoxic) coating. The stainless-steel core spreads heat beautifully so that food cooks evenly. It also prevents warping. These pans have staying power — mine looks as good now as it did when it was gifted to me ten years back.

And the nonstick magic is epic. This happy shopper says, "[These] are the best nonstick pans I’ve ever owned. The food literally slides onto your plate with little effort."

The hard-anodized exterior of these All-Clad pans is fabulous on both gas and induction ranges. You can even put these pans in the oven. They're heat-safe to 500 degrees, so if you want to melt that cheese on top of your frittata (as I always do), you can just go for it.

My favorite feature? The handles — something All Clad is kind of legendary for. Strong and sturdy, they're forged in some magical way where they don't get scalding hot. So while you still need to be cautious, you won't get hurt if you brush by them while sprinkling salt on sizzling eggplant.

Some folks say you can even forego the oil, with this nonstick All Clad surface. "These are awesome pans," says another reviewer. "They heat up quickly and cook evenly. Nothing sticks to them. I am able to fry eggs and cook omelettes without butter or oil! They clean up with a quick wipe of a sponge. Can’t say enough good things about these pans. I am so pleased with this purchase. I plan to replace all my old pans with this line."

So let me reiterate: The 8-Inch & 10-Inch Hard Anodized Aluminum Nonstick Fry Pan Set is on sale right now at Nordstrom for only $70 — that's a $35 savings. And the opportunity won't last long. "Obsessed with these pans....," says another fan. "Nonstick pans of your dreams, perfect for your everyday cooking needs. Don’t think about it, just buy these pans!"

I couldn't agree more.
