"All I wanna do is go to sleep," the former MLB star shared as he took Ella to Rodrigo's Guts show in Miami on Wednesday
Alex Rodriguez is having a relatable dad moment.
The former baseball player, 48, revealed in an Instagram video shared on Wednesday that he had spent his evening accompanying his 15-year-old daughter Ella to an Olivia Rodrigo concert.
“POV: Life as a Teenager’s Dad,” he wrote across the video.
“All right I’ve been filming all day, I’ve never been more tired now I’m at Rodrigo,” Rodriguez told the camera as he and Ella made their way into the venue.
“Olivia Rodrigo,” Ella clarified as she corrected her dad.

The sports broadcaster then captured his time inside the singer's GUTS show as she performed her track "vampire" and his daughter sang along while he nodded his head.
“Rodrigo is pretty good TBH,” Rodriguez’s caption across the video then read.
The former Yankees slugger also captioned the post, "Props @oliviarodrigo… I won’t mess up your name next time 😂."

"Family is the single most important thing," he told PEOPLE.
"It's just crazy," Rodriguez said. "All of a sudden they're gone, and you're like, but what happened?"
"She's having the time of her life," he added. "She's in the musical theater program and she absolutely loves it, but I'm crushed. I miss her so much."
However, despite his daughter being a student at the University of Michigan, Rodriguez admitted that he’s still a University of Miami fan.
"I'm still a Miami fan," he said. "I just wear the Michigan gear. And I'm a little bit of a fan of the front runners — they won a championship, so I'm like, why not?"
