Nineties icon Alanis Morissette is touring her Jagged Little Pill album and fans are delighted.

The Canadian superstar behind anthems like ‘Ironic’ and ‘You Ought to Know’, announced the tour today after dropping a new single, and news that her first new album in over six years will be released in 2020.

A marker for the 25th-anniversary of the groundbreaking album, the singer-songwriter is finally giving us the comeback we truly wanted from the decade that repeatedly tries to regurgitate those butterfly clips.

Making it even more of a 90s extravaganza are her special guests.

Alt-rock legends Liz Phair and Garbage, will accompany the singer in a girl-power rock reunion we couldn’t have imagined in our wildest dreams.

The tour will run for two months through the US summer next year, from June 2 to July 25.

Tragically for global fans, the tour is confined to North America but with over 31-dates, there is plenty of room for a travelling tragic to drop in.

As for that album, a tantalising sneak peek by way of the ‘Reasons I Drink’ single, the album’s lead, was dropped today.

The name of the album has also been confirmed as Such Pretty Forks in the Road.

The single is already drumming up plenty of interest, and the new album’s release has been confirmed for May 1, 2020.

Tickets will go on sale December 13, with presale opening on December 10.
