Fans concerned as Al Pacino takes a tumble on the BAFTAs red carpet

It’s one of the biggest nights for Hollywood’s elite, with the stars taking to the BAFTAs red carpet to pose for photographers.

However, fans were left concerned when legendary actor, Al Pacino, crashed to the floor in his New Balance trainers as he made his way into London’s Royal Albert Hall on Sunday night.

The 79-year-old actor, who lost out to Brad Pitt in the Best Actor in a Supporting Role category, had to be helped up by his 46-year-old girlfriend, girlfriend Meital Dohan.

Two security men also gave The Godfather star a helping hand and he brushed off the dramatic fall and went on his way.

While the star seemed to recover from the tumble pretty well, his fans took to Twitter to express their concern.

“Somebody gotta protect Al Pacino bro we can’t have him falling like this again,” one person said.

“All Pacino flying all the way to London to fall on the red carpet and lose his award to brad who didn't even show up,” another person stated.

One fan even posted a crying video with the caption that they couldn’t believe Al Pacino had tripped up at the event.

Al Pacino isn’t the first and certainly won’t be the last celebrity to take a fall at an awards ceremony.
