On the album as a whole, one impressed fan tweeted: "This is Adele’s most experimental album in terms of sound but it’s also so very well written and produced. Sonically and lyrically, it’s her most honest, diverse and mature body of work. If you can’t relate to at least one song, then maybe the problem is you."
Someone else agreed: "I’m blown away by Adele’s growth. From the maturity in her voice and range of topics she tackled to the musical production that we’ve never gotten from her before… she took a risk and bodied it. She said f*ck whatever box you thought I was gonna stay in. Bravo!"
Another fan wrote: "PRESENTING… THE ALBUM OF THE CENTURY."
The singer recently spoke to Oprah Winfrey in an interview about her new album, talking about the pain of adjusting to not seeing Angelo every day and why she had felt she had to leave Konecki.
