Adelaide house listing goes viral over hilarious, X-rated typo

If there’s one thing you never expect when you’re on the hunt for a home, it’s to be having a laugh on a real estate website.

It’s usually a stressful, draw-out task of scouring through streams and streams of buildings that are more often than not priced way out of our price bracket.

But one real estate agent’s slip-up has the internet in stitches after they posted an ad for a house in Adelaide with a hilarious X-rated typo in it.

“As soon as you arrive at this beautifully completed home, you’ll be awestruck at its finishings and immaculate attention-to-detail,” the ad starts off.

“Step inside to the traditional hallway, pass the guest suite and alluring staircase and down to the open living, kitchen and dining space.

“The contemporary kitchen area is complete with luxe stone bench tops, modern stainless steel appliances and loads of storage plus wank in pantry.”

If you haven’t noticed the blunder, we’re presuming the real estate agent meant to write ‘walk’ in pantry, instead of ‘wank’ in pantry.

The ad has since been rectified on realestate.com.au but not before people saw the slip-up on Facebook.

“Well that’s an addition I would not have thought to request in a house,” one person said.

“I do love a wank in pantry,” another person said, while a commenter said: “Definitely a pantry designed by a man.”

Despite the hilarious faux pas, we’re sure there will be no issue selling the immaculate four-bedroom house in Adelaide.

It not only comes with a walk-in pantry but also three bathrooms, four car parking spots and it’s just around the corner from IKEA - win, win!
