Adam Sandler Is Set to Open His First Bakery Soon—Here's What We Know

From Billy Madison to Happy Gilmore, Water Boy to Little Nicky, Adam Sandler has proven over the decades that he has a knack for making people laugh. The Saturday Night Live alum has done so much for our collective happiness throughout his incredible acting tenure. His storytelling ability and willingness to grow within the art even brought us dramatic masterpieces like Uncut Gems.

When the Sandman isn’t entertaining the masses by way of the silver screen, however, he’s mostly just a regular guy like you and I. Sandler enjoys weekly pickup basketball games to get the blood pumping, and lives a humble life as a father of two and a loving husband to Jackie Sandler. There have been, however, some recent rumblings centered around a certain coffee shop opening that happens to bear the Sandman name.

According to rumors online, Sandler is working on opening a coffee shop in New York City’s West Village neighborhood, appropriately named Sandman’s. Sandler’s foray into the coffee shop world is reportedly rooted in his admiration for the nights he spent as an NYU student, and more recently pre-pandemic times.

“I went to NYU and want to bring back those same late night spots we had open before the pandemic,” Sandler was quoted as saying.

As of right now, there’s not much information surrounding Sandler's new business venture. What we do know is that Sandman’s is set to feature late night coffee and donuts for students at an affordable price. And for anyone who frequents the West Village neighborhood, a new late night coffee option is likely just what the doctor ordered. But who would have guessed the doctor’s name tag would read “Sandman?”

While we wait for more news surrounding Sandler's new coffee dreams, fans online seem to be just as ecstatic as we are about the news.

“I swear he’s the most caring celebrity out there,” one person wrote, while another echoed the sentiment with, “This is how you give back. Supply jobs and offer a needed service.”

We think it's safe to assume that NYC residents love Sandler as much as he loves NYC.
