The upcoming action sequel – officially titled Expend4bles – is due for release next month, with 50 Cent joining returning regulars Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham and Dolph Lundgren.
However, it seems the rapper and actor hasn't taken too kindly to the poster for his character Easy Day, jokingly asking whether they had "run out of money".
He wrote on Instagram: "WTF did we run out of money? Why my head look like it ain’t connected to my body. I bet they are gonna make @officialslystallone look great. SMH #bransoncognac #lecheminduroi".
The first trailer for the new movie was released back in June, as well as an official poster with the tagline: "They'll die when they're dead."
Expend4bles will follow the story of a "conspiracy that will ignite a nuclear conflict between Russia and the United States", and will also star franchise newcomers Megan Fox, Tony Jaa, Iko Uwais, Levy Tran, Andy Garcia and Eddie Hall.
"[We] couldn't be more excited to bring this star-studded, action-packed film to the big screen with Lionsgate, who have been with us since the inception of this franchise," Millennium Media president Jeffrey Greenstein previously said.
"To keep it fresh and fun, we've added exciting new stars to join the veterans; popcorn entertainment is guaranteed."
Stallone is also set to exit the franchise after the fourth movie, the star saying in an on-set video in 2021: "It's time to be moving on. This will be my last day, so I'm enjoying it but it's always bittersweet, you know.
"When something you've been so attached to, I guess it's been about 12 years, and I'm ready to pass the baton on to Jason [Statham] and his capable hands."
The Expendables 4 is released in cinemas on September 22.
