5 things to do on a comedy cruise

If having a laugh and a holiday is on your agenda, a comedy cruise might just be the way to get the best of both worlds for your next vacation.

Earlier this year I was invited to go on P&O’s inaugural Big Laugh Comedy Festival cruise aboard the Pacific Explorer.

The 11-deck vessel, complete with ocean view rooms, balcony rooms and exclusive suites, attracted a mix of passengers, from young families to retired couples and adventure-seeking solo travellers.

With just the right amount (more than 10 restaurants’ worth) of food, drinks and entertainment on board, it was an exhilarating experience for a first-time cruiser like me.
