Yahoo Lifestyle Divorce News Dominated This Past Week, So Here Are Some Hollywood Couples Who Recently Had Anniversaries
As you know, there's been a lot of divorce news lately (see: here and here). But! There's been a bunch of celebrity couples who've celebrated their wedding anniversaries, too.
Here they are:
1.Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union
The pair celebrated 10 years of marriage on Friday with a set of joint Instagram posts. In one, Gabrielle could be seen singing "You're Still the One" by Shania Twain to the former basketball star during an apparent party for their anniversary. She also posted a loving tribute to him, in which she called him her "homie, lover, partner, and best friend."
“Thank you for being there to show me all of the things I forget along the way," Dwyane said in his tribute to Gabrielle. "Thank you for continuing to show me that you ain’t going nowhere. That you’re willing to love me through shortcomings I’ve had and the moments of growth that I have. So, thank you for teaching me, thank you for believing in me.”
2.Freddie Prinze Jr. and Sarah Michelle Gellar
3.Ashlee Simpson and Evan Ross
Their 10-year anniversary was on Saturday, Aug. 31. "10 years ago I married the love of my life," Ashlee said in an Instagram post, which featured photos from their wedding day. "You are my sunshine, and it came to shine on us as we got married. I love you forever. Thank you for completing my life."
Evan also shared a post, including photos of him and Ashley sharing a kiss. "10 Years!!! !!!!! Married to the love of my life. I can't believe it," he wrote. "It feels like yesterday. These 10 years have been the most amazing years. Thank you for all this love you have put in my life."
4.Mariska Hargitay and Peter Hermann
Mariska celebrated her 20th wedding anniversary with Peter on Aug. 28. She shared an Instagram post to mark the milestone, showing her and Pete excitedly leaving the church following their wedding.
5.And finally, Niecy Nash and Jessica Betts
Niecy and Jessica celebrated four years of marriage on Aug. 29. In honor of the occasion, Niecy posted behind-the-scenes photos from their wedding on Instagram. "Written in the ⭐️’s….The Betts est 8/29/20," she began the post. "Happy Anniversary My Love! I promise to find you in every lifetime! Four years down, Forever to go! 🎂🍾🎉😍💋❤️💍"
