What Aussie women really think about sex.

In news that will put a smile on the face of most men (and some women), Australian women want more sex, more often please. Oh and an orgasm would be nice, seeing as 26% of them are missing out on that too.

62% of respondents to Women's Health National Sex Survey said they're happy with their sex life, (33% of us are having sex between 1-2 times a week), but 46% want it 3-5 times a week. So fellas, listen up!

The 2012 survey also revealed that perhaps mum was right, since over 30% of you were introduced to your partner by family or friends. By contrast, only 1% found love at the gym.

Turns out sweat isn't that sexy after all.

And no wonder mornings are hazy and coffee fueled – 10pm-12am is the time of day most of us are doing it.

It also makes sense that the state with the largest porn shop in the Southern Hemisphere can also claim to have sex most often – the ACT ranking #1. Who knew the public service was so much fun? But the ACT is also the state of cheaters: 58% of them are most likely to cheat.

NSW nearly edged the ACT out on this one - over 1 in 2 NSW respondents claimed to have been cheated on by a partner.

By comparison, Tasmania ranked the #2 state having sex most often but perhaps this is because 15% of them are also cheating.

And some suggestion that the grass actually IS greener, 42% of singles have a regular sex partner, or ‘friends with benefits'.

Sexologist Dr Gabrielle Morrissey says this data that backs up the stats that singledom is on the rise and the time we're single is also heading north.

“Pair that with sexual liberation for women and men and it’s a recipe for some of [it],” she says. But long term? “Usually it’s doomed…because what we really want is to be in a relationship.”

What a stupid article. Ozzie chicks are #$%$ hungry sluts. I thought that was common knowledge. Saying how ozzie chicks want more #$%$ is like saying chrissie swan wants more big macs. By the way, it's also common knowledge that guys who read mens health are fags and chicks who read womens health are lezzos...just saw you know.
