You play what?!

What is it? “A branch of gymnastics where you work in pairs and trios. It’s a lot like what you see at Cirque du Soleil. Our routines involve really intricate balancing, somersaults and artistry. In a pair you need a taller, stronger gymnast who’s the base and a smaller, lighter gymnast who’s the top.”

What’s so good about it? “I love acro because it takes a lot of strength, flexibility and courage – not everyone can do it. I also love that the positions we can achieve amaze people. Plus we get to travel the world doing it.”

Proudest achievement “Representing Australia at three world championships. We also got second and third place at the International Freedom Cup in America in 2009.”
