Breathing is something that most of us do without much thought. However, did you know that there is a ‘correct’ way to breathe, and – more importantly – that you are probably not doing it?
The fact is, many of us go through life breathing incorrectly, yet experts believe that learning to breathe properly could help prevent many conditions including asthma, high blood pressure and anxiety.
Most of us take shallow breaths and breathe from our chests; however, breathing from the abdomen is considered to be a healthier way to breathe as it provides us with more oxygen with each breath.
To help boost your physical and mental health, spend some time each day concentrating on your breathing technique, trying to focus on abdominal breathing. Incorporating regular breathing exercises into your routine is a good way to stay energised, healthy and stress-free.

1 ReplyBreathing exercises, indeed any breathing at all, near any Australian politician, can prove instantly brain damaging to the Australian voters ! So much BS surrounds a politician every time any of them open their fat mouths, they poison the air for everyone else.
ReplyRight, so not breathing right is the reason why my bosses have repeatedly denied promoting me because, and I quote, "your name is a roadblock in a conservative country like ours". Breathe, "Saddam Hasan" as they call me, keep breathing.......
1 ReplyThere are many sciences that have emerged lately in the last 100 years, but what if that knowledge was allready there for thousands of years and we are only re-learning them or re-discovering them. The point is that in the Vedic scriptures, Pranayam (the science of breathing) removes toxins, anxiety, depression, stress etc and elevates a person to a state of mindfulness (understanding the self to the point of connecting the mind and body), relaxation, appreciation, controlling the life airs to the point of long gevity, etc. Other Vedic Sciences include Vastu, Vedic Astrology, Numerology, Palmaistry, Ayurveda, Homeopathy, Music and much, much more. Bye for now... Nitai Gauranga.
