When shooting the latest TV commercial encouraging people to have their eyes examined, OPSM wanted to capture the 'We Look Deeper' message in an innovative and memorable way.

Employing the artistic talents of Bianca Chang, a Sydney based paper artist, a series of unique paper sculptures were created using between 90 - 250 pieces of recycled paper each.

To create the void in each sculpture, including an anatomical eye, each piece of paper is precision cut by hand. A very detailed process which heavily relies on the precision of the artist and the tools she uses. OPSM recognised the similarities between this intricate process and the precision technology optometrists use every day to look deeper into the eye health of our patients.

"My work is so precise and that forms a parallel with the technologies that they're trying to show in these TV commercials," Chang says in the video.

Stop motion photography allowed each frame to be treated with precision, matching the OPSM ethos further and also allowing the Director, Jesse Bradstreet to capture the We Look Deeper message.

"Each frame is treated with precision I think that brings a lot to matching OPSM we look deeper," says Bradstreet.
The sculptures will be available to view at the OPSM George St store, Sydney Australia for the month of May.
