If you don't stretch, the muscles from your Achilles tendon through to your legs, hips and back become tighter and shorter, says Beryl Birch, author of Power Yoga. (Ask any runner to try to touch her toes and you'll know what Beryl's talking about.) To ease your taut muscles, perform these moves after every run. Each one strengthens your entire body while giving key areas of your lower body a much-needed stretch. Do 1 rep on each side.
