This elegant move – at any phase – stretches your shoulders, quads and hip flexors and improves your balance. Using a strap makes it easier. To stay steady, focus on a spot in front of you.

Well, losing weight is 70%down to the food you eat and 30% down to the exercise you do.You can start keeping to a reasonable calorie limit and perhaps trying to do exercise which doesn't hurt your back too much such as riding a stationary bike.Start doing 5 minutes warmup then 10 minutes a bit faster then 5 minutes cool down then build it up slowly.Lessening the weight your poor back has to carry around can only help it. I have osteo-arthritis in both knees, lower back, thumbs and one shoulder but I do yoga twice a week and I make sure I walk quickly and I am fitter and more supple than most people my age who don't have arthritis.Give it a go! All you've got to lose is weight.
