SERVICE TO THE SPORT: Hayley Bateup (Iron Woman)

Gold Coast iron woman champion Hayley Bateup is possibly Australia's fittest female with a physique as striking as her inner drive.

Her outstanding career includes being a triple Coolangatta Gold winner - classed as the toughest race to finish on the iron woman calendar. In a distance of 31km against a blustering northerly, Bateup ski-paddled, swam, board paddle and ran her way to victory 3 times.

Hayley has won 19 Australian gold medals, competing internationally as well as on home turf.
