Inside the May 2014 issue of Women's Health

Testing, testing…

Welcome to our Tried & Tested Special issue! Inside you’ll find heaps of gadgets, products, recipes and equipment to help make your life easier, a little more simple and less stressful. Let’s clap that!

So how do we go about testing stuff, I hear you ask? Over the past year, we stashed ideas for this issue, plus the features team bombarded their contact books asking for suggestions. Then we sat down with this month’s line-up and matched each story with the best and most useful products we thought you’d like to learn about. From there, we divvied them up and started testing, testing, testing 1, 2, 3.

So what gives us the expertise to write a review? Well, we’re just like you. We want a sports bra with zero jiggle or a coffee maker that fits in our bag, plus we’d like a 120-buck massage to be oh-so-worth it.

We had a few hilarious hiccups – an umbrella that didn’t behave to its instructions, a fitness gadget that apparently burnt people and an uber-exy pair of earphones that broke before they were used. So, we’re holding our hands on our hearts to bring you honest and fair reviews.

Have you come across any cool products lately? Cooked a new dish? Tried a new workout? Snap it for Instagram or tweet it with the hashtag #whtestsit and we’ll share it via our social or put it in an upcoming issue. Yep, you’re going to be seeing more of this logo… because who wants to waste their hard-earned cash on crap that doesn’t work? No thanks!
