The "Simply Madonna" exhibition tells the story of an extraordinary career spanning three decades, unearthing a treasure trove of costumes which will be appearing exclusively for the first time in Australia at Chadstone shopping centre, Melbourne.
Madonna is an icon who pushes boundaries and inspires fashion individuality. On March 16, Molly Meldrum officially launched the exhibition. "Madonna brings back many good times ... dramas as well ..." Meldrum says. "I would have never believed she would be a fashion icon when I saw her, she was wearing all this jingle jangle, she looked like a gypsy!"
The Simply Madonna exhibition is a highlight of the L'Oreal Melbourne Fashion Festival. It runs from Tuesday March 16 - Sunday April 4.
