Ask most people about their tricks for staying youthful, and their tips, more often than not, sound less than exciting: a miracle cream here, an hour on the StairMaster there.

The Cameron Diaz plan, on the other hand, sounds like anything but a chore. "The fountain of youth, let’s see. I guess it’s exercise, healthy diet, lots of water, lots of laughter, lots of sex,” reveals the cover girl in the July issue of British Vogue.

“Yes, sex, we need that as human beings. It’s healthy, it’s natural, it’s what we’re here to do,” she says.

Though photographed regularly in leg-baring short-shorts, minidresses and bikinis, the 37-year-old actress, who has been romantically linked to Alex Rodriguez and Justin Timberlake, among other notable hunks, is modest about her stunning California surfer girl looks. “I might as well enjoy it while I’ve still got something,” says Diaz, a veritable poster child of aging well.

“You’ve got to be realistic,” she says. “I mean, I don’t want to look 25 again.”
