In a black beaded mini-dress and headband, Lucas posed for hundreds of photos at the pre-drinks at The Eastern Hotel's Bar Pacifica in Bondi where local talent including Rose Byrne, Brendan Cowell and Damian Walshe-Howling downed champagne and canapes of tandoori chicken skewers and duck spring rolls.

A casually dressed crowd included The Strip's Vanessa Grey, there with her co-star Aaron Jeffrey, who threw chocolate honeycomb to her grateful friends in the audience, including Byrne and Cowell. "I'm so delighted to be home," Isabel said. "I can just warn you to strap on because it's insane!"
