A clip of Britney Spears's highly-anticipated second appearance on CBS's How I Met Your Mother has been released.

In this snippet, via Entertainment Tonight, the pop star's ditzy character, Abby, is dating Barney (Neil Patrick Harriss character) – yet she still longs for Ted, played by Josh Radnor.

The episode is scheduled to air May 12. Spears first appeared on the show in March, debuting her role as a receptionist at a dermatologist's office.

Her first guest spot earned the singer positive reviews and brought in the shows highest ratings yet.
