Ryan Reynolds and Sandra Bullock at The Change-Up premiere on Aug. 1
She previously promised fans that Ryan Reynolds was not her "lovah" – but that doesn't mean Sandra Bullock is not a great friend.
Bullock, 47, who costarred with Reynolds, 34, in the 2009 romantic comedy The Proposal, surprised the actor on the red carpet for his latest film, The Change-Up, at its Los Angeles premiere Monday night.
The Oscar winner arrived to show her support just as the red carpet buzz was winding down, and Reynolds, who was giving interviews alongside costar Jason Bateman, quickly broke free from the media to greet her.
The duo exchanged a friendly hug and kiss on the cheek, then posed for pictures before Reynolds rushed back to his costar (and wiped the lipstick off his face).
Bullock, an infrequent fixture on the red carpet lately, skipped the press and headed straight into the theater.
