Megan Gale and Andy Lee Break Up

Andy Lee and Megan Gale quietly parted ways in October, according to a statement released by the couple.

"In October, Andy and Megan parted ways. They remain great friends and both think the world of each other," a statement released by the pair said last night.

"Rumours that Megan was seen kissing Liz Hurley in a glass elevator are false and for those concerned, don't worry as Andy managed to secure Hamish in the split."

Gale had said in July she was lucky to have Lee on her arm.

"I'm in an amazing relationship with an awesome guy. I'm lucky. We put each other on top of the priority list," she explained.

The pair were last seen out as a couple at Melbourne's Derby Day, in the Emirates marquee - the same place they first met in 2006.

Lee said at the time he was flattered by the David Jones ambassador's interest in him, joking, "it must have been late in the day and she must have had too many wines."
