Ricki-Lee Coulter takes on the body bullies, happily flaunting her new curves and her sexy size-14 shape. The Australian Idol star and singer tells WHO she is "a few kilos heavier, but isn't freaking out about it" and could not be happier with her new body.

"It actually makes me feel sick that a size 14 could be labelled as being overweight," says the singer, who also opens up in this week's WHO magazine about how she got the body confidence to buck the super-skinny trend.

An advocate of body confidence and a healthy approach to diet and exercise, Coulter, 23, embraces her role as unofficial spokesperson for the average-sized Australian woman. "I think curves are sexy and that shape is a beautiful thing."

With her new single Don't Miss You on high radio rotation, Coulter's showbiz career is thriving. Yet despite her achievements, industry critics have hinted she could gain more if she lost weight. "Those comments have never fazed me because I just don't believe it's true," says Coulter, who refuses to succumb to the pressure.

"It really upsets me to think people could look at someone of my size - the average size of a woman - and say that is fat," she tells WHO. "It actually makes me feel sick, that a size 14 could be labelled as overweight."

Women come in all shapes and sizes. Some guys believe big is beautiful. Who wants to cuddle up to a bag of bones. And yes...I am a size 14.

Right, so when she's an extreme diet and exercise regime to look a size 10 instead of a size 14(which is her natural body size), shes apparently a spokeswoman for the average-sized australian woman? When she gains the weight back due to her inability to maintain this extreme regime, then she's 'happy with her curves.'
