Imogen Anthony spent Tuesday at the Melbourne Cup watching fast horses, but speed isn't a factor in her romance with Kyle Sandilands.

Soaking up the Flemington fun at the luxe G.H. Mumm marquee, the Sydney model turned fashion designer, 23, tells WHO exclusively that while she and the controversial radio host, 43, have been together for three years, "We're in no rush [for marriage.] Not jinxing anything. Taking every day as it comes."

While Anthony said she and Sandilands "are birds of a feather", she was solo at the track. "Kyle is at home putting up a chicken coop," she says.

"Building it." She's not so much into picking up a hammer and chicken wire herself: "Kyle and I like to do our own things. We spend a lot of time together but do things separately."

As for her buzzed-about Cup outfit, it was no last-minute decision. "I found it on a website six months ago," says Anthony, whose pants were custom-made by Phoenix Keating. The headpiece? "I'm going down the Maleficent road after Halloween."

While the VRC had a crop top crackdown for the spring racing carnival, Anthony wasn't listening. "I've been told it was a no midriff rule. I don't care," she tells WHO. "Kyle says tell them, 'I don't care.'" People say they love my style. I have a point of difference. I spend a lot of time in L.A. and people are breaking the mould."
