Go behind the scenes of WHO's Body Issue with this year's cover girls:

Big Brother host SONIA KRUGER
Strength and vitality are key to happiness for the former dancer. "Confidence does come as you get older," says Kruger, 48. "You learn to embrace your body, and that it's not all about being perfect."

Home and Away actress RHIANNON FISH
Currently competing on Dancing with the Stars, the petite 22-year-old often struggles to keep weight on. "You have to realise that you are who you are, everyone has a different body shape," she says.

The Biggest Loser trainer MICHELLE BRIDGES
An advocate of consistency, Bridges, 42, practises just that to achieve peak physical and metal fitness. "Of course there are times I go 'Argh, these jeans are getting tight,' or my schedule's been crazy and I haven't been able to train," she says. "I feel best when I'm exercising and the opposite when I'm not."

Miss Universe Australia 2012 RENAE AYRIS
Bullied as a kid for being skinny, the 23-year-old now ignores body critics. "When you're naturally skinny there's nothing you can do about it. I was always called too skinny, and that's actually quite insulting."

Singer KATE CEBERANO
She used to fight her body, but now loves it – especially her décolletage. "I'm very happy with [my body] because I don't have the war it seemed I had as a teenager," says Ceberano, 46. "I think I look f--king amazing."

Weathergirl REBECCA JUDD
With her second child due in February, 30-year-old Judd feels feminine and strong. "My boobs are great now – I'm a bit of a boyish figure and it's the only time I actually have curves," she says.

Singer CHRISTINE ANU
After shedding 40kg, the singer, 43, “discovered that if you've given up on yourself, it's never too late to start caring again." After the weight-loss show Excess Baggage "One of the online comments was, "Christine Anu ate her Island Home," she recalls. "I realised I was the only one steering the bus."

Reality star BRYNNE EDELSTEN
Having lost 18kg, the socialite, 30, feels she is in the best shape of her life. "I'm really happy. And my husband has fallen in love with me all over again."
