Crawford, born 1966 in the US, graced the covers of hundreds of magazines throughout the 80s and 90s. Crawford entered the Elite Model Management's Look of the Year contest at 17, she didn’t win, but was the runner-up and the agency opted to represent her anyway. Crawford was valedictorian of her high school and started a degree in chemical engineering at University (beauty and brains!) but dropped out to pursue modelling. Crawford has a unique and memorable look due to a mole just above her lip. Crawford was married to Richard Gere in the mid 90s.
