He is now one of the biggest heartthrobs in Hollywood and arguably one of the most talented actors on the silver screen, but DiCaprio got his start as a teenager, with a notable role in Roseanne and a recurring role on Growing Pains. DiCaprio's break through role in What's Eating Gilbert Grape. in which he portrayed a handicapped teenager. certainly didn't set him up as a sex symbol, it would be several years and two key films which would see this happen, Romeo + Juliet and a little known epic called Titanic.

Replyas a kid he had an excuse for being a little strange, now he looks unwashed, unkept and I think he took his role as Howard Hughes a little toooooo much to heart.

ReplyMy wife just informed me that William is gay because DiCaprio just gets better as he ages. Now I have no opinion on that one except to say William must need glasses because the guy is not fat.
