Parker met Downey Jr. on the set of the 1984 movie Firstborn, when she was just 19. "I was so selfish," recalls Downey Jr. of the relationship. "I liked to drink, and I had a drug problem, and that didn't jibe with Sarah Jessica, because it is the furthest thing from what she is". Parker stayed with Downey Jr. for seven years before she broke up with him in 1991.
