The release of Jackson's 1987 album Bad marked a slight waning in the King of Pop's popularity. Jackson began construction on a mini-Disneyland he termed Neverland, where he said he wanted to recreate the childhood he missed out on. His chimp Bubbles was just one of the animals Jackson populated Neverland with – there was also a llama named Louis and Jabbar the giraffe.
