Biography:
At just 6-years-old in 1982, Angelina Jolie appears on-screen with father, actor Jon Voight, in Lookin’ to Get Out.

In 1995. Jolie, 20, marries Hackers co-star Jonny Lee Miller seven months after meeting him. She wears black leather pants and a white top to the wedding and scrawls his name on the back of her shirt with her own blood. The young couple split in 1997 and divorced in 1999 but remain good friends.

Jolie wins her second Golden Globe for Gia in 1999 and takes out a Best Supporting Actress Academy Award in 2000 for her role as a sociopath in Girl, Interrupted co-starring Winona Ryder. Her acceptance speech at the Oscars features a kiss on the lips with her brother James Haven.

In April 2000, she checks into the UCLA Medical Centre’s Neuropsychiatric Institute for three days after she suffered a nervous breakdown. Then on May 5, the actress, 24, weds her Pushing Tin co-star Billy bob Thornton, 44, in a Las Vegas ceremony that cost put them back $189. Thornton’s girlfriend at the times, Laura Dern, is shocked. On March 12, 2002 Jolie adopts her first child, Maddox, from Cambodia.

In 2004 Jolie begins filming Mr & Mrs Smith with Brad Pitt , the two will eventually partner up and add three biological children to their adopted brood of three.
