She's missed out on being crowned the winner, but for the 24-year-old Sydneysider, making Idol's top 12 was prize enough.

Having spoken openly of her depression battle, the feisty songstress tells WHO's Alicia Neil she's feeling stronger than ever, admits she was never in it to win it, and despite her disagreements with Dicko, she wouldn't change a thing from her time on the show.

Did you have an inkling you were going?
Yeah, very much so. I did Numb by Linkin Park and I was very happy with that performance, but found I was in the bottom three for that performance. So I definitely wasn't surprised that I was going to be in the bottom three for When Love Takes Over. How are you feeling?
I think it was inevitable. I'm not disappointed, I was very prepared. I've had a wonderful time doing Idol. I'm going to miss my best mates but I'll be out here voting for them, keeping them in.Did you celebrate afterwards?
No, everyone on the weekend tends to go with their families. I got to go home with mum, dad and my brother. We ordered pizza and lay on my bed for hours laughing. Why do you think the public voted this way?
Maybe they don't really like my voice, or maybe my personality is too flamboyant for my liking, I really don't know.Is there anything you wish you'd done differently, like being less outspoken?
No. I wouldn't have toned it down because that was me and I wanted to share myself with Australia and I didn't want to hold back. Were there any judges' critiques you didn't agree with?
What I didn't agree with, I did speak up about. But then I just thought look, there isn't much more to say once you've made your point, there is no point going on and on about it. It's a TV show and Dicko's under a lot of pressure with Kyle having left the show and he feels he needs to be funny and that's fine.So you disagreed with Dicko most?
Um, yeah, I'd say so. Marcia doesn't say much. Jay Dee was really nervous. I feel really sorry for him because he's so nervous. What was your favourite judges' comment?
When Marcia said that people go to theatre to forget, and that's what I do.Who did you get closest to?
I'd say I got really close to Ashleigh, but unfortunately she left so early. I'm really, really close to Nathan and Stan and pretty close to Kim Cooper. We've got an ongoing joke that whoever gets close to her gets eliminated. I said to her, "Well darling, it looks like I'm going."Did any of your housemates have bad habits?
Maybe there was a lot of singing going on after hours. What's your ultimate karaoke song?
I Have Nothing by Whitney Houston. What are your plans now?
To relax and remain grounded, spend time with my family and then I'm going to work on creating a single of the song Help that I did on the show.Do you have a boyfriend?
No, I'm happily single.Have you garnered more attention from male admirers?
Well, I think it comes part and parcel with being on TV and being recognised. You get a lot of support and there's been quite a few male fans who have been lovely. You've spoken about your battle with depression and agoraphobia. Do you worry you revealed too much?
No, not at all. Judging by the reception I received, the most important thing to me is knowing I had a huge effect on their lives. To what extent do you still suffer from your illnesses?
I still suffer from problems. I mean, depression and agoraphobia aren't things that just go away, but the beauty is just learning how to cope with it and that takes a lot of strength.Did you not think you had the potential to win?
Definitely not. I know that I'm not Idol-wining material. Then why did you go on the show?
For exposure and just to sing again. I thought it would be very interesting and I would learn a lot about who I am and that's exactly what I got out of it.Who would you like to see win?
Judging by popularity, I think Scott's right up there at the moment, I think Stan's up there and I thought Nathan would be too, but he was in the bottom three.

I liked Sabrina. I thought she could have won it. She should still be in it as one of the last 5 Idols left.
