How are you feeling having left the competition so early?
I'm OK now, but it was pretty crappy at first. During the eliminations Jackie told me I hadn't spoken to enough people at the Marie Claire cocktail party, though I thought I kind of did. But she spoke to me straight afterwards and said she thought it was like a mistake; they'd put me in the bottom three not expecting I'd go.

Why do you think the public voted this way?
I'm not sure really; it depends on the other two you're up with and they obviously liked Isaac and Lucas. It was really weird and kind of unexpected.

Have you noticed Hannah and Kassy's on-camera animosity towards Shanina?
I can see where they're coming from; she hasn't had anything bad said to her. We're all standing up there and everyone gets bagged out and she never gets anything at all.

But why is that their business?
I don't know. She's only 17 so I think there's room for some criticism. She kind of needs it.

Do you get the sense that Hannah and Kassy are jealous of her?
Yeah, I think that comes into it as well. Especially with Hannah, because she came into it thinking she'd go really well. And she probably will because she's pretty determined. But because she's modelled for a couple of years, I don't think she wants to see someone who's inexperienced be better than her.

How close have Luke and Kassandra got?
Well, they were in my room last night actually. There's definitely something there.

Have they hooked up?
Yeah they have! They've done more than that; you can figure what out for yourself! Also Courtney and Billy had something but I don't think that's going on anymore. I don't even know what happened.

Do you have a partner?
Yeah, I have a girlfriend, Jill. She's 22 and lives in Melbourne. It's only been like a month; I've known her since we met at a Tegan and Sara concert in December and we've kind of been together but not, because I didn't want a long-distance [relationship].

Would you be prepared to move to Melbourne for the sake of the relationship?
I would like to, but I probably wouldn't be able to move because I want to pursue modelling, so unless she wants to move here I won't be able to do it.

Who's not taking the competition seriously enough?
Sometimes I think some of the boys don't really care; it's more about them wanting people to know who they are when they get out. Billy and Luke just want everyone to know who they are. I hope someone like that doesn't win.

Who do you want to win?
I don't know now. People are changing so fast so I don't really know.

What's next for you?
I'm going into Chadwick [Model Management] next week, which Martin arranged, and I'll just see what they have to say and go from there.
