So how are you feeling about being eliminated?
Being eliminated was a bit of a surprise for me. I would have picked it, if it was like week two, or another week where I hadn't done so well, but I'd been told in week four that I was going alright, at least. But in a competition with 13 beautiful girls you have to expect to go sometime.

Did it make you feel a bit better that there were two of you that went at the same time?
I guess it made me feel a bit better that there were two of us that went. I always dreamed that if I left I would want it to be in a double elimination so I'd get to hang around with the girl I was eliminated with. But Mikarla lives in Wollongong so she just went back home and I didn't get to hang out with her.

How did you find the challenge?
I was glad I wasn't wearing what poor Mads turned up in. She was wearing a jumper as a dress and I was wearing jeans, so I was alright. It was a bit of a worry as well because we had been told by one of the crewmembers that some of the people there were on parole. At the fruit market, we got told that half the men there were on parole.

Were you scared?
It was definitely intimidating but it was all a bit of fun. Not too bad. If I was 16 I would have been scared. But because I'm 20 I had a bit more perspective on it all. I felt really sorry for all the young 'uns.

That's really sweet. And what about the photo challenge, how did you find that?
The photo challenge was one of the better ones I thought. It was...a lot of the girls had trouble with it. I think it was something you either were good at, or you weren't or you kind of got, or you didn't. I loved it because one of the men there was really encouraging.

What did you think of your photo at the end?
I didn't mind the photo. I didn't like it, but I didn't hate it. From a distance it looked good. But then when you see my face, not so pretty.

Do you get to take the photos home with you?
I'm not sure if we get to keep the photos. I think we get a portfolio once the shows finished and everything, when we go for the final elimination.

Do you have any modelling plans once the show is over?
I haven't really made any set plans yet. I'm studying occupational therapy and that's kind of my main priority at the moment but I'm thinking about giving it a go, maybe.

Did you learn anything new about food and dieting?
I studied nutrition in year 12 at school so I didn't learn much about diet or exercise. We do the challenges but the funny thing about the show which is something I wasn't expecting, we do the challenges but then we wouldn't really be taught much. They would film a little bit of us doing a catwalk and then critique us a tiny bit but we didn't really get taught what was right or wrong. We didn't get taught what was good exercise or appropriate exercise for us. They kinda said that they did teach us. I think I learnt more from experience from the photo shoots and from learning from the girls than I actually did from the lessons that we had.

So did you take any tips away home?
Tahnee taught me a lot about walking. Tahnee has done a lot of modelling before and so she was one of the best walkers in the house. And so she would always try and help us out. Heaps of tips on what to do and Claire was pretty good so she would help us.

How did you find living with so many girls?
Living with the girls was great fun but it could get really tiring at times. There was no real break. Whenever we left the house we would have to have a chaperone and we would have to get permission and you know, we barely ever leave the house. We were just stuck with each other all the time. I guess living in such close proximity can get pretty testy because everyone gets so tired. It was fun but it was a bit too much for most of the girls to handle.

Is that why there would be fights?
I think that is the main reason there were fights, because we were living off each other and there was no real escape for us. We couldn't talk to our friends and we only got two 10-minute phone calls a week and we couldn't just go for a walk and clear our mind. We always had to be in the house with the other girls and it was really quite stressful.

And who do you think is going to win the competition?
I think Madison should win because she just has an amazing body. I have never seen someone so toned as her. And she has a great outlook on life and she is really down to earth, she's stunning.

Who do you think will be the next to be eliminated?
At the time I thought Franky might be going because I wasn't sure if the judges would like that fact that she wanted to give up the show for her hair. And I also thought Cassie might be going sometime soon because she just couldn't keep her anger in check.

She does have a temper, doesn't she?
So crazy.

But she is so beautiful.
It would be so hard because you would be sitting there looking at her. Jealousy would be the main thing. She would just get out there in front of the camera and do the best job. And you knew why, effortless beauty but then you know, she didn't really care. It was really frustrating but you know, if you've got the look, you've got the look. Good on her.

Was it fun being on the show with Sarah Murdoch?
I didn't actually get to spend that much time with Sarah at all. I guess we got more time Charlotte Dawson and she was more of a mentor to us. She was lovely and a real support for all the girls while we were on the show. It comes across that Charlotte is critical but while we were there she was always giving us advice and being really helpful and we didn't see Sarah much at all.

Did Charlotte give you any advice?
Charlotte gave me a bit of advice while I was on the show she told me that I needed to work on my facial expressions, that was one thing that I did have trouble with in the first week and then after that Sarah gave me some tips and tried to help me on with that. There was always help if you asked for it.
