  • The show makes them wait a month before they can try their hand modelling
The photographer was "so mean to us"
Lola was "harsh" to steal Cassi's line

How are you feeling about being eliminated?
I was a little shocked because I was trying hard that week.

Tell me about the lesson. How was it working with the animals?
It was so funny. Everyone thought it was going to be a miniature photo shoot. We dressed in these ridiculous animals suits. I was this koala and I tried to get this platypus with flippers, but Adele got that. We had all the animals. Clare got this pig, which was just out of control. It was just going absolutely psycho. I had a little lamb. I had a pig at one stage though too. And for some reason every time I held the pig it would stop squealing so everyone was like, "Oooh, you're the pig whisperer." It was hilarious.

Were you annoyed when you found out it was a lesson not a photo shoot?
The lesson was to make sure you act professionally. It was a really good lesson, I'll tell you what. I think Franky might have kicked up a little stink. The photographer was being so mean to us, so they just sent her off even though she was doing a really great job. I didn't think she was doing anything wrong.

How about the diamond challenge - was it amazing working with all that jewellery?
So cool. I got this necklace, which was all different coloured diamonds. Like the rainbow. But then Tahnee got this awesome one, which was a million-dollar diamond necklace. They were all Australian diamonds too, which was pretty cool. We had to lie on these ice blocks and I got ice burn from it on one of my elbows. I was the first to go on it, so the ice was quite dry. It hadn't melted or anything so I got stuck.

What about Lola's face on the ice?
Jonathon had been saying before hand, saying, "You should put your face on the ice" to some of us girls. I thought he was joking. I was like, "Haha, whatever". Thought it was a joke. But then if I had done it, I would have won the necklace. So I was like, "Noooo!"

What about Cassi saying that she wasn't jealous of Lola because she prefers gold anyway?
That was quite funny. She was probably quite jealous because Lola already won a challenge from Cassi with the Maybelline shoot. She stole Cassi's line. I would never have stolen the line. That's kind of a bit harsh. I was saying that Lola should give her one thing out of her little prize basket. It was kind of funny at the same time.

You were all so excited to travel to South Australia for the shoot in the outback. How did you find working with Russell James?
It was really cool because I have never been so far inland before, let alone into the desert. I'm like the surfie chick. We were driving through the outback and saw those wind things. You know, windmills. Then the photo shoot we got to go into the desert. But the flies! They could not have got any more annoying. I think I was the biggest fly baby.

What did you think of your photo at the end?
It was actually quite funny. I look so angry. I did learn how to control it a little bit over time but I still have a frown thing going on. But I'm sure I can fix that. But I think if you look closely at the photo, I'm pretty sure that there is a fly coming towards me. I look like I am staring at it going, "Go away!"

Whose photo did you love this week?
The biggest transformation that I liked was Clare's. She has such a soft angelic face and then she had a pretty strong photograph. But I liked Tahnee's. She is amazing!

What was your favourite photo shoot?
I liked the desert, because I like being outside. It wasn't that enjoyable with the flies but it was just nice to be in a different location. The tram one was quite cool. The Kotex one.

What do you think are your best qualities as a model, besides your hair?
I don't know. The hair!

Had you had any modelling experience before the show and are you going to continue with it?
No, I didn't have any. I hadn't even watched the show before, so I had no idea what to expect.

Why did you decide to audition?
My friend told me to audition. She was like, "Maddie come down with me." She didn't get in though.

Are you planning on getting into modelling?
It's something I might get into. Now I see how the modelling side of things work. I have had a taste of what it is like. I have deferred university for a little bit because I am going to change my degree. I was doing marine biology but I think I would find the Arts side more fun. I want to be an art teacher and I might look into modelling as well. Since I have deferred for this year I might see what the modelling brings up. You have to wait until a month after the series.

Who are the international models that you admire?
I love Gisele Bundchen. She just has such a natural beauty and she likes the beach a lot. So I guess I can see the similarities between her and I.

What is the best tip you received from the coaches or other girls about modelling?
Tahnee was quite good. She has had quite a bit of experience and she knew how to catwalk, that girl. So she taught Eloise and I how to catwalk, actually.

How was it living in the house? Who did you get along with the best?
Tahnee, Georgie, Eloise and I had a little thing going on. I quite liked it. I liked living there. I like all the girls. I'm not a mean person. That's not me at all. I didn't say anything bad about anyone; they didn't say anything bad about me. I was kind of in my own little space. I found my own ways to get away from everyone if I needed to. I would go swim in the pool because no one else would. I had my own little free time but my hair went green from all the chlorine. My hair is so blonde and it went green so I gave Shrek a run for his money.

It comes across that some of the girls are quite bitchy and fight a lot. Is it always so heated in the house?
If there was a fight I would just stay right away from it. I didn't want to be involved in anything like that. It probably wasn't my place to say anything. I think the only one I got sort of involved in was the Cassi and Clare thing with the shower. I was in that room so I had to sit down with Cassi and explain to her that she is our friend and it's not just your room.

What did you think about Cassi announcing she was leaving, but then deciding to stay seeing she got a good photo that week? Do you think it's fair that the judges let her get away with that behaviour?
It was a bit unfair, I think. All that week she kept saying "I want to go home, I want to go home." She was going to go home. But then she changed her mind, not only because of her photo but because she got spoken to by Sarah and Priscilla. They changed her mind and when she saw her photo she went, "Yup, I'm going to stay." And then I got eliminated and I was like, "Damn!" I didn't think Cassi was going to leave this week though. She changed her mind about leaving before we went to the desert, so I was like, "Great, she is going to pull out an amazing photo!"

Eloise said she was a bit envious because Cassi has this bad, horrible temper and then she pulls off these great photos.
Yeah, I am a little bit envious but what can you do? It doesn't matter.

Who do you think is going to win and who do you want to win?
I really want Tahnee to win because she is just so beautiful on the inside and on the outside. She would just be a really great role model for the younger people. She has got it all.

Who will be eliminated next?
I'm not quite sure actually. Can't really pick it. It depends on how they do that week. I don't know what will happen in the house, something might happen to affect someone's performance. I don't know. Laura could do really well next week.
