How are you feeling about being eliminated?
Yeah, I'm okay with it. I mean I would've loved to go to London. I was a bit sad obviously, and I wanted to stay in the competition longer, but hey, it happens, it happens.
Were you surprised considering the positive feedback you got from the photographers?
I think when it comes towards the end of the competition it's not just to do with that photo shoot, it's about your performance from the whole show, and I guess that I was probably lacking performance compared to the other girls.
Are you bitter that Cassi got to go to London go even though she didn't really want to?
Of course I am!
Do you think what we see on the show is a fair representation of what really goes on?
No, I don't, it's definitely not at all. I think I come across as bitchier on the show than I am in real life.
How did you find living with so many girls?
I didn't really like it. To be honest it was really bitchy. Everyone was getting on each other's nerves by the end and I was getting over it.
Who got on your nerves the most?
Clare got on my nerves the most.
You definitely managed to put on the crying in the funeral scenario. Did it come naturally?
I guess it came naturally. I just thought of something sad and I did it.
How did you find your final photo shoot and having to channel Grace Jones, even though you didn't have a very good idea of who she was?
I would've preferred to have someone like a typically beautiful person, like the other girls, but I got given her and it was fun to do someone different.
Your look is obviously very different to the other girls. Were you ever worried it would work against you?
Definitely. In the modelling industry you don't see a lot of dark-skinned girls out there. In order to be a good black model, you have to have something special. Sometimes I lacked belief in myself, and sometimes I doubted myself.
So do you think your confidence took a hit during the show or you came out with more confidence?
Definitely less confidence.
You have a stronger, more athletic and muscular body compared to the others. Did you feel any pressure to lose weight?
I did, but when you look at it I'm probably on the skinnier side compared to some of the other girls. I'm not trying to be rude, but Lola and some of the other girls were a bit bigger than me. I think I have more of an athletic, healthy look rather than that typical waif look.
Do you regret cutting your hair?
No, I don't. I love it.
What was your experience of working with the judges and Jonathan?
It was a good experience, and Jonathan, after a while you learn that he says a lot of stuff for TV so you don't take it to heart, and you got stronger in that sense.
Who gave the best advice?
Probably Sarah Murdoch.
Do you have a favourite judge?
Charlotte Dawson.
Do you think the judges have favourites?
Definitely, of course the judges have favourites ... everyone has their personal preferences. If I was watching the show I would have my own favourite, so what's stopping them from doing the same?
Who do you think will win?
Tahnee.
And is she also who you want to win?
Yep, she's the one I want to win as well.
Who do you think will be the next one eliminated?
Adele.
What are your plans for the future? Do you want to pursue modelling or will you continue your studies?
I'm still at uni and I plan on finishing that. I'll probably do a bit of modelling on the side and see what comes from it, and obviously if something big comes from it - like Victoria's Secret status - then of course I'm going to pursue modelling.
What's your advice for anyone who wants to audition for the show in the future?
Just be yourself and always believe in yourself.
